This was the home of Frederick Misegades, an important wagon-maker, between c. 1885 and at least 1915.
Freerick Misegades had a long-time wagon-making shop at 200 N. Water St., across the street from this house. He began his business in 1857 and lived above or near the shop until around 1885, when he moved to this location. Around 1890 he went out of business.
