"Once on Country Aire Drive 1/4 mile south of County Trunk M, 1 1/4 miles south of Kirchhayn, on Fred Schottler place. Built c. 1844 by Christian Turck. Cedar log structure, 2 1/2 stories, with cantilevered shed roof across front porch. Rye straw and clay chinking between logs, pargetted with lime plaster.
