ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE:
Good example of a small brick store of this period with integrity of form and some of its original ornamentation extant.

HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:
Was the location of Abeles and Mahler, manufacturers of pants and overalls. They were established in 1884 and distributed throughout the midwest.
