Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This one and one-half story side gable house has a low-pitched gable roof, clapboard siding, and single-pane double-hung sashes. The entry is a gable roofed overhang with turned post. Also on the property are sheds and a gambrel-roofed barn with board siding and fieldstone foundation. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This house and agricultural outbuildings were owned by John Knuth between 1862 and 1870 and by Henry Knuth between 1873 and 1915. [a,b] |
