NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' (Viroqua Residential Historic District) exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History.

This Neo-Gothic style brick church was built in 1914 to a design by the architectural firm of Hilton & Sadler of Janesville, WI. The building has a high degree of integrity and this was not compromised by the construction of a sympathetically designed education wing that was attached to the south-facing side elevation of the original building in 1962.

1995- "United Methodist Church building, VE25/11. Another largely intact brick Neo-Gothic style church, this one was built in 1912 to a design by Hilton & Sadler, architects practicing in Janesville, WI. This is the third church that this congregation has built on this site and it has a large, contextually sensitive addition attached to its south elevation that was built in 1962. Like the other churches cited above, this one is also potentially eligible for architecture."
