NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This Queen Anne style residence, now apartments, remains in excellent condition, with its original siding, belt course and bracketing under the eaves, etc. The gables retain their shingles, although the fenestration on the third floor has been altered, and the tower may have been lowered. The porch at NW corner appears to be an addition. Lawrence E. Cunningham was a member of the firm Cuningham Brothers, formed in 1874 as general contractors and builders in Beloit. He died in 1924. His son Lawrence Jr. took over the business after his death. Outside Bluff St. Hist. Dist. boundaries
