Additional Information: | This one-story Astylisitic Utilitarian form exhibition building is believed to have been built as the first Youth Building ca.1947; it does not appear on the 1933 Sanborn-Perris map. It has a concrete pad foundation and clapboard-clad walls. 1995- "This one-story Astylistic Utilitarian form building is very similar in design but is longer than the education building described above. The building is rectilinear in plan, has a concrete pad toundation, clapboard-clad walls, and is sheltered by a metal-clad monitor roof whose ridgeline runs east-west. The building is believed to have been built ca. 1947 as the first Youth Building and it is still 1n largely original condition. Although this building is believed to be of too recent a date to be considered as a contributing resource in the district as of the date ot this report it is probable that it will be considered a contributing resource to the district in 1997 and it is listed as being contributing to the district for that reason." - "USH 14 Transportation Study ", WisDOT ID #1646-07-00, Prepared by Timothy F Heggland (1995). |
