NOTES
Additional Information:The building was constructed for Appleton Wood Products between 1915 and 1919. They manufactured die blocks, butcher blocks and cutting blocks. The product line expanded with the demand. By 1960 Appleton Wood Products was manufacturing blocks along with paper mill covers, suction boxes, work tables and work benches.

In 1968 Lamico Inc. Wood Products-Mfg. purchased the property and continued to manufacture wood products. The Miller Electric Mfg. Co. purchased the building from Lamico around 1975. The Miller Plant is directly adjacent to this property. It was being used as the Miller Electric Credit Union and the maintenace department for the company until very recently. The maintenance department was relocated to a different building but the Credit Union has remained there. The vacated area is being used for storage but there are plans for the area to be used for light industry such as small electronic fabrications. Appleton Wood Products original address was 1518 W. Second St.

The structure has a concrete foundation, cream brick exterior walls and is 1 and 1 1/2 stories high. It has a flat roof, rectangular floor plan, and projected pilastered, double hung sash windows.
