Additional Information:The house was built in 1875 and an addition was added in 1883.

This house was built in 1875 for Price C. Claflin (1849-1914), who was a jeweler. Claflin remained in Stevens Point until 1887 and sold the house to Henry E. Martin (1847-1898) who was a lumberman and served a single year as Stevens Point’s mayor. Later owners include Peter Kelly (1854-1905), John Martini, Sr. (1859-1921), Dr. Wayne F. Cowan (1879-1954), Harvey Luebben, Roman Lukasavicz, Darwin Whitman, and Bill Schierl and Sarena Melotte.
