This two and one-half story frame front gable ell house has a steeply-pitched gable roof covered with wood shingles. The building is a clad with clapboards and there are decorative shingles in the large front gable. A two-story addition at the rear is also clad with clapboards. A veranda spans the front of the building; it has a flat roof, round columns and a plain balustrade. A similar balustrade is on the top of the porch roof as well.
