NOTES
Additional Information:South side bay window; flat roofed open porch with Tuscan columns and balustrade; shingled gambrel ends; projecting window cornices; arched window on porch with articulated wooden key stone; over hanging bracketed gambrel on south side. This was the home of Daniel Pfaffenbach between 1911 and at least 1934. Initial research indicates that none of the occupants of this house are historically significant. This frame house is significant under criterion C as an example of the cross gabled vernacular house form influenced by the Dutch Colonial Revival. One of three good examples of the cross gabled house characterized by the Dutch influenced gambrel roof, this vernacular house exhibits exceptional integrity. Other good examples of vernacular houses influenced by the Dutch mode of the Colonial Revival are the house ar 806 No. 4th (28-24), 1018 E. Main (51-30), 1300 S. Third and 806 No. 4th (28-24).
