NOTES
Additional Information:A 'site file' titled "Memorial Park Historic District" exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. South wooden bay window; two sided enclosed porch has been added; palladian styled window in gable end; projecting pediment shaped wooden window heads. Garage.

This house was occupied by George Stanchfield, a city engineer, in c. 1900; and by Henry Gorder, owner of a lumber and fuel company, between c. 1919 and c. 1936.

Initial research indicates that none of the occupants of this house are historically significant either individually, or as a group within the proposed historic district.

This building does not meet the criteria of the NRHP for architectural significance because of a lack of integrity. However, this building has sufficient architectural character to contribute to the proposed historic district.
