| Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION This two and one-half story Queen Anne house sits on a fine cut stone foundaton. The building also has decorative scalloped shingles and large scroll brackets in the bays. Most of the windows are single-pane double-hung sahes, and they are irregularly placed on the building in the Queen Anne style. The building also has porches covering entrances to the building. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This house was owned by and propably built for A. Barkhausen around 1895. The house is now used for a restaurant. [a] |
