Additional Information:Watts (1865-1953) lived here from 1914-1953. He was a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin from 1905-1937. Was an emeritus professor from 1937-1953. Inventor of a hot nickel plating bath, known as the "Watts Bath", which revolutionized the industry. Was vice-president of the Electro-Chemical Society from 1926-1927. Author of 56 technical papers on electro chemistry.
