NOTES
Additional Information:2007- "Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church is Neo-Gothic Revival in style, and sits on a stone foundation. It is rectangular in plan, finished with brick, and capped with an asphalt-shingled, gable roof. Erected in 1909, the church possesses two additions, dating from 1948 and 1965.6 The interior was also remodeled in 1965. Although records do not indicate what these additions were, physical evidence suggests that the stuccoed, gabled section appended to the rear (east) of the church likely dates from 1948, and the front (west) end probably dates from 1965. The fagade overlooking North Wauwatosa Road currently displays a large, gothic-arched window with tracery, flanked by smaller, gothic-arched windows. A square bell tower with a pyramidal roof rises on the south-facing (side) fac;:ade of the church. The tower displays pointed-arched openings and a stone panel that reads: EV. LUTH. DREIEINICKEITS KIRCHE, WEST MEQUON. The tower probably originally anchored the corner of the front (west-facing) fac;:ade, and the original front facade likely was removed in 1965. East of the tower, gothic-arched windows with leaded glass are regularly placed on both the north- and south-facing (side) facades of the church, suggesting that this is probably the original block of the church. West of the tower, there are a few, small casement windows on the south-facing (side) fac;:ade. An enclosed, gabled entrance porch appears at the west end of the north-facing (side) fac;:ade, facing the parking lot. This entrance porch displays small casement windows matching those on the west end of the south-facing fac;:ade, indicating that the entrance porch is a part of the 1965 addition."

DESCRIPTION
This brown brick church was built in 1909. It has a main block with a steeply-pitched gable roof. The windows of this block are Gothic arched stained glass windows with a tripartite grouped flanked by an individual arch. The arches are brick with stone keystones. The tower is square with a steep pent roof with decorative chimneys rising from the flat roof that is topped with stone. Numerous narrow stained glass gothic arched windows punctuate the tower and a large Gothic arch covers the Gothic arch openings of the bell tower.
