Additional Information:This building has had a number of retail businesses located here through the historic period. Between c. 1885 and c. 1893 it was George Hawkins crockery store. It was, between c. 1907 and c. 1930, the Heismann grocery. Also located here in 1907 was Dr. Thomas Shinnick, the physician who led the movement for a community hospital in Watertown.

This building has some historical interest because it was the location of several retail businesses. None of the businesses were historically significant individually but they do contribute to the overall development of commerce in the Main Street Comemrcial Historic District.

This building was built around 1868 for the Carl Noak store which stayed in this building until around 1880. Also here at this time was the office of pioneer physician, Dr. Martin Barber. Other businesses here included saloons and dry goods stores.

This building has some historical interest as the location of a number of retail businesses. None of the businesses are individually historically significant, but they do contribute to the overall development of commerce in the Main Street Commercial Historic District.
