Additional Information:Frederick Miller was the president of Miller Brewing. He was born in 1867 and attended Milwaukee public schools, Marquette High School and Marquette College. While still a teeneger, he was sent east to a brewers' school before managing a branch of the Miller Brewing Co. in Bismarck, N.D. He returned to Milwaukee in 1888 to manage the brewery there. He remained the president of the company until 1939. He died in December, 1942. Besides living in Wauwatosa, he spent winters in Florida and summers at his home on the east shore of Lake Nagawicka. May sold the Wauwatosa home in 1952 and died in 1970.

Dr. Lawrence and Marilyn Hargarten lived here from 1952-1968. Carl and Janet Peter owned the house from 1970-1978. Dr. David and Geri Tschopp lived here from 1979-1992. Dr. A. Thomas and Rita Indresano lived here from 1992-1998. Don and Mary Jo Layden purchased the house in 1998.
