NOTES
Additional Information:
Bibliographic References:The Milwaukee Sentinel, Real Estate section, 7 June 1930, page 1, includes an image of the subject home entitled "In Washington Highlands," along with a caption. As well, a short article, "New Residence Costs $55,000," is below the photo. Although Truettner is identified as the designer, he is known to have employed architect Ray Dieterich at this time. Also designed by Truettner/Dieterich in 1930 is the Thorvald Hansen House, also in the Washington Highlands, the house of which is confirmed to have been designed by Dieterich. A check of the permit date and a review of The Daily Reporter could flesh this out.
