Additional Information: | Shingled upper story; three sided bay window with rectangular gabled projecting bay above projecting front porch; full length open porch with Tuscan columns and balustrades rectangular; southeast bay window; bargeboards; similar to 814 Richards Ave. This house was built for Northwestern College employees. It was occupied by William Huth between c. 1919 and c. 1930. Initial research indicates that none of the occupants of this house are historically significant either individually, or as a group within the proposed historic district. This building does not meet the criteria of the NRHP for architectural significance because of a lack of integrity. However, this building has sufficient architectural character to contribute to the proposed historic district. |
