NOTES
Additional Information:2021: Appearance unchanged. 2022 WisDOT survey information: This multi-story, 1950s Contemporary-style house is sheathed with both brick and board/wood siding. A two-story, front-gabled wing on the south incorporates a garage on the first level, while a one-story, front-gabled wing anchors the house on the north. Connecting those two wings is a side-gabled wing that rises one-and-one-half stories. Visible windows throughout the house consist of a large picture window, along with fixed openings, many of which include wooden vent framing along the bottom. Note: A final drive of the area was completed on 26 April 2022, at which time it appeared that a large garage was being built. It could not be determined whether or not it was attached to the house. This house was designed by Joseph J. Mollica and built in 1955 at an estimated cost of $35,000 for James and Francis M. Dykes. At the time of construction of the house, James is identified as the sales director for the Schlitz Brewing Company and he and his wife lived at 2201 N. Hi Mount Boulevard. The Dykes’ remained in the subject Honey Creek Parkway home until between 1970 and 1971, when the house sold to Edward Jurken, the president (and founder) of Badger State Canning, and his wife Zorka.
