| Additional Information: | DESCRIPTION The first silo, older one, is constructed of fieldstone and is a short large conical structure with a conical roof. Projecting from the roof are three gabled-roofed dormers with sash windows. The other silo is a taller, narrower concrete silo. ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SIGNIFICANCE The barn has some architectural interest as an example of a gambrel-roofed barn in Mequon. The concrete silo is typical of the older concrete-constructed silos seen in Mequon. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This barn and silo were probably built for Walter Corrigan, who owned the property in 1890s.
