| Additional Information: | 2012: Appearance unchanged. DESCRIPTION This side gable house has a steeply pitched gable roof with gable-roofed dormers projecting from the front of the roof. The house is covered with aluminum siding. Windows are modern single-pane double-hung sashes. A small sddition extends from the one side of the house. The house has a log structural system. Also on the property are sheds and a large gambrel roofed basement barn with board siding, large sliding doors, small windows, and a fieldstone foundation. HISTORICAL BACKGROUND This property was owned by John Fischer in 1867 and by Ulrich Fischer between 1873 and 1915.[a] |
