Additional Information: | "This bar and the one to its left were first owned by Joe Rainero, who also owned the buildings next door. Tax records show that in 1925, Rainero had 4 cars, at a time when many people in Hurley still didn't have one. If he was involved in bootlegging, as were many Hurley tavern owners, these cars provided ideal transportation for his valuable goods. By the late 1930s this bar became known as the Hi-Ho, which it remained throughout the 1950s."
