An excellent example of one of Milwaukee's earliest residences with integrity of form and appearance. Whitnall was an early florist and the originator of Florist Transworld Delivery service, a planner of the Milwaukee Parks system, and a leading local businessman. He was the father of Charles B. Whitnall. Charles B. Whitnall, Frank's son and as head of the Park Commission, Master Planner of the County's extensive park system, Charles was also co-founder of the Socialist Democratic Party in Milwaukee. |
