Additional Information:BRICKWORK DETAILS IN GABLE. Original stepped gables were removed. John Yanicke built this building as a combination retail building and residence. He operated a meat market and butcher shop with his brother Herman until his death in 1910. Edward Schuster purchased the building in the early 1920s and continued to operate it as a meat market. In recent times, it was converted completely to residential use.
