Additional Information: | This large two and one-half story brick structure has segmental arch windows and a decorative brick cornice and once housed a cheese factory. The factory was at the rear with residences in front. In 1903, this was the A. E. Henry Creamery and Cheese factory. From at least 1914 until 1923, Elmer McKinnon operated the cheese factory. By 1924, the cheese factory had closed and George McKinnon was living here, probably in the manager's quarters. By 1942, the building had been converted into the George McKinnon Apartments, housing McKinnon and five others. |
