Additional Information:This two story queen Anne styled house features an irregular shaped plan configuration, a cut stone foundation, a clapboard exterior, a wood trim and an asphalt shingled gable roof. The building exibits design characteristics of the Eastlake style including elaborate gable ornamentation in the open gable ends and spindle work on the brackets of the front porch. The residence, which is in good conditon, was owned by Marvin L. Phillips in 1981. Related to this dwelling is a garage; no description of it was given in the Intensive Survey Form. The Morris Halloran house was built in c. 1892. (See Bib. Ref. A, B). According to the Inventory card describing this house, the date of construction was noted as being c. 1895. (See Bib. Ref. C).
