This five-span timber structure bridge was constructed in 1936 and carries Emerald Grove Road over former trackage of the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (the “Milwaukee Road”) currently operated by the Wisconsin and Southern Railroad (WSOR). Each span is 19 feet in length, except for the center span, which has a length of 22 feet. The substructure consists of timber abutments and pile bents. The deck is 21 feet wide, accommodating a two-lane, 20-foot-wide, wood plank roadway and simple timber railings.
