Additional Information: | STONE LINTELS AND SILLSQUOINS [Date Cnst:CA] Resurveyed January 2017. This property contains this Gabled Ell house (AHI# 8596) and a small bank barn, both of which were historically part of the Andrew L. Davidson farmstead. The 2-story house is of limestone construction and features a 1-story entry porch with turned wood supports and 1-story additions to the east and north (rear) elevations. Although the buildings were historically part of a larger farmstead that also contained a dairy barn and a few smaller outbuildings, only this small barn and the farmhouse retain a degree of historic integrity (the large dairy barn located on a separate parcel immediately east of the bank barn retains no historic integrity as it has been converted to a commercial property with a large, modern addition that spans the length of its east elevation; none of the smaller outbuildings remain). |
