| Additional Information: | 2020 - The Blackhawk Apartments is a c.1920, three-story apartment building with a raised stucco basement. It features elements of the Tudor Revival style, including a mix of brick and stucco cladding that gives the appearance of half-timbering. The building has a flat roof with concrete coping accented by brick corbelling. Fenestration consists of single and grouped double-hung, six-over-six, wood windows with wood surrounds and brick header sills. The main entry, which is situated at the crux of an “ell” along the front (south) facade, consists of a glazed, multi-light, wood door covered by a flat, ribbed awning and flanked by a stucco knee wall with globe lighting fixtures. Concrete stairs lead to the building entrance. A detached garage with similar brick and stucco cladding and a single, overhead, replacement garage door is located at the rear of the property. |
