NOTES
Additional Information:This house contributes to the architectural significance of the proposed Jefferson Avenue Historic District as a good example of the Georgian Revival style. The overall form and massing with symmetrical details and a large hip roof are elements of the style. The round arched reveals on the first story of the main elevation and the projecting entry pavilion with columns toped with urns and second story wrought iron balustrade are fine details of the style on this house. The sun room is also of interest with its elliptically arched openings. This detail is repeated on hte other side of the house and is topped with a second floor "sleeping" porch. A very well-preserved example of the style.

Lathrop was the head of the William G. Lathrop Agency, an insurance firm. In 1930, the Lathrop household included two children and Grace Lomas (23), Mrs. Lathrop's sister.
