It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. 2007- This building was declared a City of Madison Landmark in 1999 in an effort to preserve it as a significant design by local architect Frank Riley. When the Overture Center for the Arts was planned for this block of State St., a compromise was reached that incorporated the facade of Riley's design into the new arts center. Construction on the Overture began in 2004 and was completed in 2006. Today, Riley's facade frames the main entrance to the Center. Was listed as a Madison Historic Landmark: 3/16/1999. |
