Additional Information: | 2013: "This two-story c.1870 cream brick gable ell house has a stone foundation and asphalt roof. Windows are a combination of two-over-two, double hung sash and two-over-two, horizontally divided double-hung sash with segmental arch brick lintels and stone sills. A one-story shed roof porch wraps around the front (south) facade and east (side) elevation. It appears to have been enclosed during the historic period with three-over-one windows. A one-story c.1940 gable roof rear addition has aluminum siding and a concrete foundation. The property also includes a c.1900 gable roof bank barn (AHI# 224499) with a c.1920 Gothic arch addition on its east end. A c.1920 Gothic arch milk house clad in asbestos siding is attached on the south elevation of the addition and a c.1930 concrete stave silo is located to the north. A c.1910 storage building (AHI# 224500) has a metal gable roof and replacement siding. A second c.1910 storage building (AHI# 224501) has a metal gable roof, stone pier footings, and replacement siding and windows. The property also contains a modern pole building." - "USH 12, Airport Rd to WIS 19", WisDOT ID #5300-05-00, Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc. (2013). 1993- "This rather simple, two story, brick, gabled ell house has segmental arched windows with concrete sills. Despite its rather nice form, the house is over 900 feet from any of the project's alignment alternatives." - "USH 12, Sauk City to Middleton", WisDOT ID #5300-03-01, Prepared by John N Vogel, PhD (1993). |
