| Additional Information: | 1993- "Rising from a concrete, or concrete veneered foundation, this house generally reflects the American Foursquare style. Each of the planes of its flared, hipped roof contains a gabled dormer. This clapboard sheathed house has a large, enclosed porch with a shed roof. The size and mass of the porch destroys any sense of scale that is normally associated with the American Foursquare. As well, the house lacks any architectural ornamentation or decoration that would give it some character." - "USH 12, Sauk City to Middleton", WisDOT ID #5300-03-01, Prepared by John N Vogel, PhD (1993). |
