Additional Information: | POINTED ARCHED WINDOWS. The first Episcopal services were held in the home of William Henderson in 1873. For a while, the log school at National and 84th was used. A small chapel was constructed west of the present building in 1878. This was sold and the proceeds used to build the present sanctuary. The Henderson family was active throughout the church's life. Mrs. Henderson donated the property on which the church was built. The building was purchased by the First Church of Christ, Scientist in 1952. Currently (2007) houses the Cornerstone Christian Life Tabernacle. Previously surveyed in 1980; no apparent changes when re-reviewed in 2007. 2025: Currently serves as the Amazing Grace Wedding Chapel. |
