Previously surveyed in 1980(5911-5913). Address prior to 1932 was 5005-5009 W. Burnham Street. 1930 U.S. Census reports Alex Casadonte as the owner of the building (5007 W. Burnham) he lived in--he was a time keeper for a leather factory. In 1932, Joseph Smith Co. Meats and Alex Berlanga Fruits were both located in the lower, retail portion of the building.An update photograph was provided in 2007.
