Additional Information: | 2022 - This Gabled-Ell house was constructed in 1914. The two-story house is constructed of rough-cut concrete block, with a front-gabled block facing southeast and a two-story ell extending southward. The asphalt-shingled roof features clipped gable ends, with a concrete block foundation. The entryway is located at the southwest corner of the main block within a small 45-degree alcove. One doorway leads into the main block and another leads into the enclosed porch that is located in the ell of the building. The porch features wooden posts between arched openings, with two-over-two double hung windows paired within each of the three bays. Windows are surrounded by painted beadboard. Windows throughout the remainder of the house consist of one-over-one replacements, though the original openings between cast stone sills and lintels have been retained. A small one-story addition has been constructed at the rear (northwestern end) of the building. |
