CNR BRICK PILASTERS TOPPED W/DOMED TURRETS. 1982: The Kenosha Theater was built in 1926-1927 for Carl Laemmles Universal Pictures Corporation. Part of the original sigh on the north side of the building are still readable (in 1982): "The only theater in the City presenting Talking Pictures."
