It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. POINTED ARCHED WINDOWS. DEEP SET TUDOR ARCHED DOORS. ROMANESQUE TOWER. IN 1981 AN ADDITION WAS BUILT AND 2 ITALIAN MOSAIC SHRINES WERE ADDED ALONG WITH AN ITALIAN MARBLE PULPIT. As early as 1837 Irish immigrants to Kenosha organized St. Mark's Parish which adopted the names St. James in 1882. A church was built in 1883 to replace an earlier church; the first mass was celebrated on May 10, 1884. A school and rectory are also located at this site. A DOE (considering all three resources) was completed in May 1999.
