Garage exists on property.

"Constructed in ca. 1880, this two-story, side-gable house has been significantly altered from its ca. 1976 appearance. Wide aluminum siding has been applied and a variety of additions to the rear have been made. As well, there is now modern fenestration. A large solar panel is on the roof.

Approximately three years after his brother Charles had purchased his 160 acres in Section 8, Thomas and Mary (Fisher) Tempero bought 160 acres immediately to the north. Thomas came to the United States in 1846, presumably after being beckoned by older brother Charles. After serving in the Civil War, Thomas passed away in 1866. He left his wife Mary with the land, a house and approximately twelve children. At some point during the 1880s, the acreage was divided in half, with the southerly 80 acres forming the subject parcel. It passed into the hands of Thomas and Mary's eldest son, Richard. It is thought that Richard erected the subject residence at the time of the property's transfer. He retained ownership until passing it by 1940 to his son, Earnest, who then held it into the mid-1960s. Thereafter, significant subdivision occurred, leaving the subject house to rest on a .5 acre parcel."
