Additional Information: | 2021 This two story Period Revival style store was built in 1913. The building is clad in brick with cast stone trim and accents. The first story retains its original configuration, with brick bulkheads, corner storefront windows, and cutaway corner entry, although the windows and doors are modern replacements. A secondary storefront at the west end of the north facade has been covered over. A pent roof wraps the east (Cesar Chavez) and north (National Ave.) elevations. The upper story contains three-over-one double hung windows arranged singly and in pairs. A steeply-pitched pent roof caps each elevation. The roof has deep overhangs and is supported on paired brackets. Square brick piers with cast stone panels and round finials rise from each corner of the building. |
