Additional Information: | R.E. Locher and Schefrin Co. were junk dealers. In 1918, the windows were altered and the building was occupied by New Process Specialty Co., manufacturers of special machinery, tools and gauges. In 1925, Badger Mirror Co. relocated here from one block north. They manufactured mirrors here until 1942. In 1944, Eagle Knitting Co., whose plant was directly east, began using this building for a warehouse and workroom and, later, the building housed The Knit Pikker, Eagle's outlet store. 2016 - Two-story building, central portion of stepped parapet removed. Sleeper brick belt courses; replacement windows and doors in original openings. Entrance is at northwest corner, and a loading bay on north elevation has replacement overhead door. |
