Meridian (1848)

Location: Sank off Sister Island in Lake Michigan. The remains can be located directly off the tip of the fantail gravel shoal which extends south from the east point of Little Sister Island. the end of the reef drops sharply into 25 feet of water; part of the wreck is buried in the gravel at the base of the reef. A larger section lies slightly off this buried segment in about 30-40 feet of water.
