Broadside advertising McCormick's Patent Virginia Reaper, manufactured by what was then known as C.H. McCormick & Co. Features an illustration of the reaper in use. This early model required a person to ride on the machine and rake the grain from the platform. The local distributor listed on the advertisment is D.W. Brown of Ashland, Ohio.
