Family and Carriage
Image
This image is one of many taken by Dane County photographer Andreas Larsen Dahl. Many of them depict family posed in front of their homes wearing their best clothes and displaying some of their special possessions. This portrait of an unidentified family suggests that their matched team of white horses and the farm were the possessions of which they were most proud. Behind them is a barnyard with a barn and another large outbuilding.
