Hurff, professor of naval science at the University of Wisconsin. Standing left to right are John Jamieson, naval public information officer for the Madison area; and Rear Admiral R.T. Coudrey, former Oregon resident, who served as fleet maintenance officer on Admiral Halsey's staff during World War II.
