Pilot Orland G. Corben accepts the winner's trophy at the Kroger Air Show in Madison from Kroger Manager D.V. McPeek. Also in the photograph is Tommy Haines. Corben, manager of the Madison Airport and manufacturer of Corben planes and kits, finished first in the fifteen-mile race, flying one of his own Baby Ace airplanes. A Baby Ace was also featured in the stunt flying at the air show by local aviator Merle Buck.
