Black Point Dining Room
Image
A view of the southeast corner of the dining room in the main house at Black Point, showing a china cabinet and tea table. The cabinet holds pieces of Catherine Seipp's china. A carved wood sculpture of a cavalier stands on top of the cabinet and a still life painting hangs on the wall. The ornate tea table with attached hanging kettle and warming lamp is on the left. According to information on the reverse of the photograph, the table was "from World's Fair 1893." There are decorative leaves and vines painted or stenciled on the walls.
