The tree is trimmed with tinsel and glass ornaments. Wrapped gifts are piled in a chair near the tree. There is a toy power boat and erector set at left, near a poinsettia plant. A portrait of the Brumder's daughter Barbara with the family Springer Spaniel is hanging over the fireplace. At right are a grand piano and radio.
