Harnischfeger Food Drive
Image
Harnischfeger workers aren't on strike but they do their bit every week to help those who are. This picture was taken at the end of a regular Wednesday morning plant-gate collection for canned goods. As you can see the contributors gave generously--and if they forgot their can of food, they dropped some change in the collection box. Local 1114, USA [United Steelworkers of America], members at that plant have pledged to continue the weekly food and fund collections for the duration of the strikes. Wisconsin CIO News.
